Diagnodent utilises a small laser to check the biting surfaces of your teeth for decay. The laser shines onto the tooth surface, allowing the Diagnodent to identify weakened or decaying tooth structure.

An exact reading is obtained for each tooth, giving a far more accurate diagnosis compared to traditional methods.

If early decay is detected, the tooth can be protected with a fissure seal – a small, tooth coloured covering. This process will prevent you from needing a filling.
